A 597-piece greenhouse that glows. Transparent walls, a roof that lifts off and an LED under the floor, so the whole house reads as a lantern once the light is on.

Why we built it this way

We built this one around the roof. Most small house kits are sealed boxes; this one comes apart at the top, the skylight tilts and the windows and doors swing, so the planting inside can be rearranged long after the last brick is placed. The interior is where the detailing went — flower beds, potted stems, a watering corner — and none of it is visible through a closed roof, which is the point of making the roof removable.

At 6.3 inches in every direction it fits a bookshelf or a desk corner without dominating it. The LED sits beneath the floor plate rather than behind a wall, so the light rises through the transparent parts instead of casting a shadow across them. Switch it at the base; there is no visible wire.

Little Jesus and Mary lego village.

Pretty cool addition to our mini lego village. All parts work. Love the movable (open close) windows and that you can reorient the pieces as you like. Had a good family time putting it together. Instructions were clear and parts were large enough for people with small and large fingers. Great holiday gift, particularly because of the LED light feature.

Huge hit.

Was given as a gift and I had a chance to see it in person, it is better than what I thought in person. Opening windows, cute details inside and out. This brought a huge smile to her face, when she was discussing it and showing me.. Worth every penny.

Impressive... do they have one in life size?

Very impressive for a kid's toy. It is as the picture advertises. Well made and adorable. I was told by the 12 year old that she was making it a part of her lego homesteading village.
